Sustainability Plan: The Long-Term Financial Success of UIT

Once the Capital Campaign is complete and the ribbons have all been cut, the buildings are open and full of life and healing…then what? UIT has several plans for long-term financial success that separate it from a traditional, American non-profit organization. We will have a fee for service structure, that will be based on the client’s ability to pay and our military and veterans will not pay a fee (however, if they wish to make donations and “pay it forward” that will be accepted.)

Additionally, we are working on The Job Rehabilitation Center which will serve multiple purposes. As veterans are transitioning out of care, finding viable employment will aid them in providing for their families and maintaining a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. Additionally, there is a high need for rebuilding across Ukraine.

Similar to transition and employment programs currently in the U.S., The Job Rehabilitation Center will train veterans and allow them to contribute to the rebuilding of the country while also obtaining financial stability. Veterans can apply to work for The Building Company, through the Job Rehabilitation Center located on the grounds of the Ukraine Institute of Traumatherapy.

The profits from the Building Company will be used as a sustainability plan to fund daily operations of the Ukraine Institute of Traumatherapy, in addition to government funding of veteran rehabilitation, and fee for services.
