Here’s a story to brighten your day! Meet Aiden, who is 11 y.o., Ashton, 9 y.o., and Abby, 7 y.o., from Suffolk, VA – three amazing kids with big hearts!
These youngsters with bags of candy and determination, Abby, Aiden, and Ashton went door-to-door in their neighborhood, selling treats to raise funds for Ukrainian children in need.
With the help of their supportive parents, who provided guidance and printed informational materials, kids collected $98 !! and sent it to the Institute. For this money we purchased 23 packs of Kinetic sand – a simple yet cherished therapy toy that will surely bring joy to Ukrainian children facing tough times and will be used in therapy play kits. These 23 therapy play kits will be sent to Ukrainian psychologists in different regions of Ukraine to conduct play therapy with children and adolescents who have suffered from the russian invasion.
